FCYO Audition Information

Auditions for the 2026-2027 will take place on 

Tuesday August 18, 2026 at Centennial High School
(9310 Scott Road, Roswell, GA). 

Audition material for FCYO is based from the 

Georgia Middle School All-State district audition material, which will post in the middle of the summer, as well as the information listed below under "AUDITION REQUIREMENTS".

Check both the GMEA website and our FCYO website throughout the summer for up to date information.

G and A Major scale AND arpeggio, 3 octaves

VIOLA

C and D Major scale AND arpeggio, 3 octaves 

CELLO

C and D Major scale AND arpeggio, 3 octaves 

DOUBLE BASS

F and G Major scale AND arpeggio, 2 octaves 

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Up to 90 seconds of solo/concerto work for your assigned instrument that showcases your skills, techniques, and abilities. 

This will help directors place students in sections accordingly.
